A socket I had purchased sat in my truck. I went to use the socket, and it broke. Since the socket was under warranty, I took it back to O'Rielly's. They refused to honor the warranty, because the socket had been left out in the cold. No worries, because I disputed the charge on my card. The socket was $10, but it was part of a $329 purchase. Today, my bank notified me that the entire amount had been permanently credited to my account. So, rather than honor the warranty, which would have cost them a moment of time, they lost $329. Good move. Maybe I should test the other items that I leave in my truck.
