The car has been sitting at his house since he had the accident.  He's moving it down to the shop to put it inside.

2.    The few who learn by observation.
3.    The rest of them have to pee on the electric fence and find out for themselves.    Will Rogers

It's still sitting outside in the weather at the shop, he hasn't had time to move it in yet.

I got an invite for skilled workers to help build tinny houses.  My contribution was to tell them to use something other than tin to build their houses.

Melanie used to watch that tv show.  We watched them build a tinny house.  It was covered on the outside with old rusty tin from old houses and barns.  I couldn't believe what they pay for those things.  Prices you could get a small regular house for.  They wouldn't be allowed around here because zoning restricts a property to only 1 dwelling structure on a lot.  There are some exceptions but there must be something like 3 or 5 acres in order to have a detached Mother-In-Law suite.

Someone you know wanted to build a 300 sq ft house.

Tin is great to hear in the rain, but terrible for everything else.  I remember people with tin covering portions of their house.  Nasty.  I'd sooner have a sod house.  Note that the roof still requires beams and tar paper, but the cost to build is minimal.  A sod house is cool during the day and warm at night for the Summer, and does well in the Winter--if you have a wood stove.  There is no need for air conditioning, and forced air is a bad idea.

My living room is more than 300 square feet and there's no way I could live in just that space.  And it's just me and the 2 little dogs.

If you have insulation in the attic, tin roofs aren't so bad unless you live under an acorn tree or during hail or sleet.  Rain sounds like a waterfall in the distance.  We had a tin roof on the camp in Maine.  It was wonderful sleeping during rains.  There are several homes in my subdivision that have replaced their original asphalt shingle roofing with tin.  One house that's the subject of the neighborhood ire painted the house bright green with a bright orange tin roof.

Yes, tin wakes you up during hail storms.  It sounds like a war zone.  When it rusts, it looks terrible.  It gets sharp, and must be replaced.

I thought houses were painted like that specifically to make the neighbord mad.  There is a house near here that is painted like a rainbow.  Oddly, the owners though that paint job would help sell the house.

Hmmm.  I went to vote for someone's car online, but got a message, "We could not verify that you are human.  Please check your vote, and try again."

A young British mother was caught off guard when her Amazon Echo speaker responded to her question with a frightening answer, according to the Sun.

I read that!  That's terrible, but surely shows where some people are trying to push us.  In general, I think those who believe this should follow their own advice, and let me know how it goes.

I got an early Christmas present.  The kind that keeps on giving.  Jury duty.  Again.  And again.  And AGAIN!

Yes, yours truly has been summoned to appear during a 2-week period, which may or may not happen during the time scheduled on the summons.  I have 5 days to reply.  Heck, I could've been out of town for 5 days!  This is ridiculous!  I hope I serve on the jury of whomever sends these ridiculous things!  Guilty!  We should get at least a month to reply.  Apparently, they think I have nothing better to do than to wait around for them to send me a summons, so I can reply post-haste.

Hmmm.  I'm scheduled to be in Arizona.  $0.58/mile.  About $800.

One of my clients finished 2,286 overall, 485 for the USA in the world ironman competition.  That's 2,286 of 62,040!  He's been working for years to achieve the world ironman level.  Although not a podium finish, that is an accomplishment for someone who has an actual full-time job.  I have another client I'm trying to talk into entering ironman, but he says those people are nuts.

I still don't have a key to my shop, But I am getting ready to be moved to a bigger shop next to the one I'm in now. But I do have the key to my trailer. And I'm getting ready to put a new battery and positive battery wire. They think my starter is bad but it has a new starter on it.
