Glad u guys made it back in one piece!  Sorry to hear there were car issues.  Hope they were not too serious.  Wish we could have gone... both Patty and Dakotah ended up sick with sinus junk. Patty went to her other doctors apointment and now we just have to wait.

Can't wait to see more pics!

I agree @ Tim being our hero!
We are a great team and it was always a lot of fun with or without broken down cars.

Thanks, everyone!

Just please remember, I would never have volunteered to do something like this if you all hadn't stepped in at some point to help me (and help each other) so many, many times!

I enjoyed the trip, albeit not behind the wheel of my own Fiero this time. I must say, however, that the Official Saturn VUE GFC Roadside Assistance Vehicle was the perfect choice for this task. I was able to kick back and enjoy the scenery, take in the satellite radio, and carry an amazing amount of supplies and tools.

And Spartanzz proved he's a stand-up guy!  When my Saturn disappeared ;- ), he drove us around chasing parts, replacing belts, burning his fingers, etc. for 2-1/2 hours, all the while keeping his calm, and a great sense of humor about it all!

Here are a few Behind-the-Scenes photos from the eyes of the Roadside Assistance Team (no, I don't want to use that as an acronym...):

I will post the rest of my photos asap.

Thanks again, everyone, for your kind words!

Best,

Fiero GTB

"Curve blocking" is one of those YPT (Young People Terms) from the Internet.

Much like Tweeting with Twitter, or Googling a Boolean Frok, "curve blocking" refers to asynchronistic maneuvers to block the concurrent passage of a vehicle by durffing (or "non-cambering") the steering wheel in opposite-lock directional fashions in quick left-to-center-to-right-back to center motions.

She thinks that I was going too slow into curves because she was behind me and couldn't go through the curves like she wanted to. And yes, I did it ;)

I prefer googling a boolean fork or a boolean cancelable, as opposed to a boolean frok, as you get more hits that way!

THE REST OF MY PHOTOS FROM THE CLOUDLAND CANYON BBQ CRUISE:

http://pix.kg/p/698583539310%3A710609264/scl

See if you can spot the Toyota in the underbrush. Proof that, no matter how much you accelerate, cars just don't sail as far off the ramp as hang gliders.  Betcha the guy's last words were, "Hold muh beer a minute, n' watch THIS!"
