Just remember that whatever color is selected, it will fade with washings.  I have red, blue, yellow, green and stone and they've all faded except for the stone colored one.

Linda, I agree!
Everybody could write his/her favorite color and the majority wins and that will be "the" color.
What do you think?

That sounds like a plan.
Lets start a color choice thread.
I like Light Blue.

Perhaps we could change the color each year?

What do I know?

Why would we change the color every year ?
Couldn't that be a little pricey on top of dues each year ?
Of course NOBODY is required to buy a club shirt each year.
If we are going to change colors each year, should we put the year on them ?

I don't think these were meant to be a new shirt every year. That would get expensive. And if so, why all the talk about a material for the shirt that would last?
The more complex the mind, the greater the need for the simplicity of play.

Now now folks, we're only talking about a shirt here.

However, my opinion is that we should agree on a "club" color and stick with it, as for "club identity", as Linda has previously mentioned. With a different color every year, we'd wind up wearing a mix-mash of Fiero shirts at events again, just like we do now.

Just my thoughts.

I agree with Linda and Roger @light blue.
"Maybe" we could put the year on it when the club was founded?

X2

If you choose a different color each year, then just let everyone have their choice of colors every year.  You'd end up with the same assortment, eventually.  No need to have the year or MEMBER on them, since that would almost require a new shirt each year, and those who don't renew their membership would still appear to be current members.  The sand color shirt I have has our logo embroidered and it also has the title of Vice President 2006.  Kind of limits me to wearing it for just one year.

While being a member is important for the strength of the club, being associated with the club is first priority.  I'd rather have a bunch that is associated with us and participates and shows our colors than to have folks that won't buy a shirt because they must be paid members.

established under the logo on the front ?

Light blue.

I'm afraid white or stone would just let our 'group' blend in to any crowd.  The light blue will stand out a bit better.

No year joined, etc.  Keep 'em simple.

If my math is corect, 5 people prefer the light blue so far?

GAFC logo on left chest, Fiero logo under the collar on the back, name on right chest or sleve.

I will pay for a prototype in that color, but mine will most likely also say "Member: Donster", or something similar. My choice, but I plan on being a member until I can no longer get in or out of a Fiero anyways. ;D

If the shirts are made, I will buy one.  I am not picky about logos or color, but agree they should all be the same color.  I would vote against white...but would buy a white one if it wins the vote.

I don't care what color it is, I'm not wearing any Fiero shirt or any $25 shirt when I work on a car.
