I didn't do the work on the engine so I don't really know what was done to it. My notes only show that it had some sort of roller cams or rockers, it was bored out to a 3.1 liter and that it has some sort of custom headers on the engine. It was a very nice, very fast revving engine. I got around 26mpg with it on a 60 mile round trip commute.
As for price I have absolutely know idea what is reasonable for the car. That is why I really recommend that anybody interested come and look at the car. I don't want to misrepresent the vehicle.
Right before it was wrecked I had just finished rebuilding the headlights with new rubber bumpers, one headlight has the brass gears. A brand new parking brake, new rear calipers and rotors, a new water pump, starter and alternator were all done within 6 months of the accident. The interior was converted to the full guage package with the better speedometer panel.
The steering wheel is aftermaket btw. I wouldn't recommend it. The seats are still the 85 type with the speakers. The passenger seat is not torn. The driver's seat was starting to tear on the entrance side. The interior is in good shape. The dash is not broken but the previous owner had painted it for some reason.
I had originally planned on keeping the car for parts for my next Fiero project. Other car projects, time and money have made me realize that my next Fiero will probably be about 5 years in the future.
